Venue: MPSP Tower Lobby, Bandar Perda, Bukit Mertajam
Participants are required to run from the starting point of 7 kilometers on the road and start running up from MPSP Tower Lobby with 412 steps to its final 16th Floor to complete the race.
Runners will using 4 units elevator at Level 15 coming down and back to MPSP Tower Lobby. Competition is open to all individuals above the age of 13. For the purpose of age verification, the age competitors shall be taken as at 31 December 2015. Registration open for Citizens of Malaysia and Permanent Residents of Malaysia with valid National Registration Identification Card (NRIC) number (12-digit) at the time of competition.
Each entry form has to be accompanied with an entry fee as above chart. All entry fees can be in cash / money order / poster order / cheque payable to “LA VINTAGE EVENT SDN BHD”. For whose need online transfer / bank in transaction, please contact organizer for further detail of banking account info. Online registration is available at event.howei.com/mpsptowerrun . Incomplete entry form will be rejected. No refund will be made for incorrect or multiple entries or participants who wish to withdraw from the competition. All registered participants will be issued a receipt as proof of registration and this should be produced during the collection of running tags. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of entry.
Runner will start from the MPSP Tower lobby to the main entrance of MPSP. Runner will pass by - “ROUND ABOUT” (follow with direction of 12am) - heading to POLICE STATION that on your left hand side keep straight at make a “U TURN” in front of BALAI BOMBA. Runner need to continue the run and will pass by PERDA CITY MALL that on your left hand side. Keep straight to “ROUND ABOUT” again (follow with direction of 9pm) & will pass by RESTAURANT KAPITAN. Run until the junction turn right heading to TNB BUILDING. At the junction, runner have to turn right & will see TABUNG HAJI BUILDING is on your right hand side. Go straight until the traffic light turn to left and you will see PETRONAS PETROL STATION on your left. Go until the junction make a “U TURN” in front of CALTEX PETROL STATION. Heading back to MASJID BANDAR PERDA that on your left hand side & turn left continue the road. Runner have to make final “U TURN” at JABATAN PERHILITAN then go into MPSP Tower through Gate Door B to lobby of MPSP TOWER STAIRCASE A for run up to 16th Floor of the MPSP Tower. When runner reach the 16th floor & it will be official COMPLETE the race. Runner will using 4 units elevator at LEVEL 15 back to MPSP TOWER LOBBY for drink & food.
CLOSING DATE FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION
Registration will CLOSED on 02 August 2015 (Sunday) at 3.00pm (Malaysia Time) or upon achieving 1500 runners, which ever come first.
FINISHER MEDAL AND CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION
Runners who complete the race will be entitled to FINISHER MEDAL and CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION. Medal will given based on “NO TIME LIMIT” system as long you completed the race on top 16th floor. Finisher Medal will giving on 16th floor only by showing the wrist band to event crews.
WINNER AGE VERIFICATION
All cash prize winners must produce their MyKad (Malaysian) for age verification at the Secretariat Counter beside the prize presentation stage for collecting their prizes money on the event day.
COLLECTION OF RACE KIT
All participant will receive a DRY FIT running shirt each in addition to their running tags. Participant are required to produce the Official Receipt / MyKad (Malaysian) during collection at MPSP Tower Lobby on 08 August 2015 (Saturday) & 09 August 2015 (Sunday) from 9.00am - 5.00pm. Collection on behalf is allowed with Official Receipt / Photostat MyKad provided.
All participants must register their attendance (Race Check In) to collect wrist ban No.1 before the race starts for each category. All participants are advised to report from 5.15am - 6.45am as event will start on 7.00am (All Male Categories) & 7.45am (All Female Categories).
Organizing Committee will not be responsible for any injuries sustained before, during and after the above event including but not limited to any loss of personal belongings etc. All terms and condition are subject to change without prior notice.
